Mr. Aijaz is a professional electrical engineer having about 35 years diversified experience to his credit in power sector. For the last 10 years he has been actively involved in preparation of feasibility study reports including processing from scratch to financial close of various power plants in the private sector (IPPs) under 2002 Power Policy. Mr. Aijaz Hussain has conducted and supervised preparation of feasibility studies for 225 MW Bhikki Power Project (for Halmore Power Generation), 100 MW Khuzdar Power Project (for NLC Energy) and 165 MW AttockGen power project (for Attock Refinery Limited). In addition he prepared EPC Tender Documents, O&M Tender Documents, Tariff Models, Generation License Applications, PPAs, IAs, FSAs and getting PPIB and NEPRA approval.
In Royal Commission Yanbu and SCECO West Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, he worked on operation, maintenance of 8×65 MW and 3×120 steam turbine power plant and supervised construction, installation and testing/commissioning of 65 MW gas turbine, 380 KV transmission line including substation and protection system etc.
As Chief Engineer (electrical) he managed load survey of Sunder Industrial Estate Lahore, power plant sizing, preparation of tender document for 132 KV grid station along with tariff negotiation. For about 13 years Mr. Aijaz worked in WAPDA/ NTDC in senior positions where he was responsible for protection & instrumentation and troubleshooting of 90 grid stations along with testing & commissioning of 132 KV, 66 KV and 11 KV system of NTDC.
