Asghar Ali Niazi

Mr. Naizi holds degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology Lahore and possesses more than 34 years diversified experience in power sector. He has attended middle management course at WAPDA Staff College Islamabad and operation & maintenance course at WAPDA Academy Faisalabad. As Chief Engineer FESCO, he was responsible for management, operation & maintenance of 132 KV and 66 KV transmission networks including control of loading condition of transmission lines & loading of 220 KV /132 KV transformers. As director HV & SC testing laboratories (WAPDA), his assignment included inspection, testing and acceptance of 11 KV cables, 11 KV switchgears, protection and control panels, PVC power cables, energy meters and safety equipment etc. Mr. Naizi has also been associated in completion of first 500 KV Terbella-Gatti transmission line and energy audit of factories, improvement of power factor, loss reduction etc.
